In case you didn‟t know, Facebook has a 5000 friend limit. Their reasoning is that, unlike Myspace, they want to limit your contacts to actual friends, and curtail commercial abuses and that sort of thing.
Using the methods described earlier in this book, you will reach 5000 friends very quick.
But be warned. If you have almost 5000 friends, don't even THINK about corresponding with anyone else that wants to friend you.
STOP accepting friends when you will reach the 4300 limit!
TIP: IF YOU STILL WANT TO ACCEPT NEW FRIEND REQUESTS, FROM INTERESTING PEOPLE, YOU CAN DELETE YOUR OLD FRIENDS.
DELETE THE FRIENDS YOU CONSIDERED TO BE FINE BUT YOU HAVE DISCOVERED TO BE SUSPICIOUS OR NOT ACTIVE.
The question is how can you get Facebook to allow you more than 5000 friends? The best option would be to create a fan page for yourself and use that.
